JOIN THE CONVERSATION

NCWRA has always brought strong value to the water resources community in North Carolina by fostering the exchange of ideas and approaches across our community from research, to policy, to practice.  We are proud of that mission, but we feel like we can do it better.  Thus, throughout this fall and into next year we will be advancing the following initiatives to strengthen the relevance and technical content of NCWRA’s offerings:

  • Improve our website and update it more frequently
  • Survey members for preferred luncheon topics
  • Improve outreach to universities and colleges across NC
  • Reinvigorate existing student chapters and start up new ones
  • Increase our interaction with state and federal policy makers to better forecast issues
  • Initiate new payment options for easier event registration

It can’t happen with just us. We welcome you as NCWRA members to become more directly involved in the building and advancement of NCWRA. Whether you are a research scientist, a policy advocate, or a design engineer, we want you to JOIN THE CONVERSATION.
