NCWRA holds quarterly luncheons with guest speakers presenting a variety of water resources topics.  Luncheons are open to members and non-members alike. 

Have a water resources issue you'd like to see a presentation for, or have a speaker suggestion?  Email Betsy Pearce (betsy.pearce@wakegov.com) with your topic suggestions.

Online Registration:  Online Registration usually ends 5 business days before the event!

Members: You must log in to receive the member price for online payment. Your login is the email address you provided to NCWRA. If you have not received a password in a recent email, you may click the link in the login box to reset it.

Non-members: You do not have to be a member to register online.  If you wish to receive the member rate for events using online payment, you must first join NCWRA, then you can register and pay online for the event at the member rate. Sign up and pay for membership by going to the NCWRA Membership page.

Paper Registration:  members and non-members can also register offline for events by sending a registration form along with cash or check.  A PDF registration form is available for download on each individual event page below.

Multiple Registrations:  You can register multiple attendees with a single check by mailing in a paper registration form.

    Leading (and following) During Adversity:  Lessons from Coal Ash

    Presentation by Mark McIntire, Director of Environment & Energy Affairs, Duke Energy

    The coal ash accident at Duke Energy's Dan River Stream Station in 2014 fundamentally altered the way many think about electricity.  Mark will share his coal ash ash story and how the events of February 2014 are changing an industry.  In addition to answering questions about the accident and all that has transpired since, he will share his perspectives on environmental leadership during difficult times.

    Continuing Education Credits:  This forum will provide 1 PDH (professional development hour) credit for professional engineers and surveyors, contingent upon board approval.
